,B), of which a copy is enclosed, was forwarded by the Secretary to the Commodore as the plan to be attached to the Bill. I attach copy of the letter and of the Colonial Secretary's reply dated the 27th. of February, 1902, in which the intima- tion was conveyed that this Government could not accept the Eastern boundary shewn on the plan.
